Grape Genetics Research Laboratory
Geneva, NY

This project was the new construction of a 65,000 SF laboratory and greenhouses for grape genetics research.  Researchers at the laboratory evaluate methods to improve viticulture.  In order to assist the researchers with their work, the facility includes molecular biology labs, plant tissue culture, media/buffer prep, nematode rearing, and a fruit chemistry/pilot plant.

“EwingCole’s clear explanation of the stages of the design process was instrumental in helping to understand the information needed and how it contributes to the progress of the project.”
