EwingCole, together with Brickman Sports Turf Services, was commissioned by the Israeli Association of Baseball (IAB) to develop a concept design and cost estimate for a baseball stadium for their National Team Training Center in Ra’Anana, a suburb of Tel Aviv. The 1,000 seat stadium would have the ability to expand into a larger ballpark with an overlay program for professional games. Baseball remains a niche sport in Israel where the game is mostly played on an assortment of soccer fields. These concept designs are being used by the IAB to generate publicity and raise funds to realize their dream of establishing a home base for their National Team and youth training center.
